Q&A: Halloween Games?

Question by Uh-Oh-Its-Alex: Halloween Games?
Hi! My younger sister (12) is going to have a halloween party this weekend with some friends. Do you have any ideas for games that are okay to play while children are in costumes?
Thanks! :)
Thanks so much!! These ideas are really great. Also, just in case, the kids are approximately 12 years old. :)

Go to www.birthdaypartyideas.com There are lots of games there under different catagory. Try pin the wart on the witches nose. Have “gross” things for them to guess what it is by feeling (eg. spagetti noodles as guts. peeled grapes as eyeballs, etc).

If there’s a window by your front door, you could hang some fairy lights in in and make paper pumpkins to go round them!

Or carve a pumpkin and put a candle in it outside your door. If you don’t have a pumpkin you could make a lantern instead.

Perhaps weave some tinsel round your gate if you have one.

You could stick allsorts of things to your windows like paper ghosts, witches’ broomsticks, couldrons, etc.

    Hope ive helped you there

Question by thegirlnextdoor: Wiccans and witches – do you find the ‘traditional’ Halloween witch decorations offensive?
I know several women (from an internet group) who are wiccans and/or witches and they all really like the Halloween witch decorations. Some say it reminds them of the days when things weren’t so complicated and people didn’t take holidays too seriously.

        How about you?
